Matt Macaluso

Born and raised in Northern New Jersey, Matthew began his career in the Substance Abuse Treatment field shortly after achieving sobriety in Florida in 2011. He started as an entry level Behavioral Health Technician. Always maintaining his continued involvement in the South Florida Recovery Community, Matthew went on to manage the daily operations at the largest sober living facility in South Florida. He helped that facility navigate the transition from sober living into a licensed treatment center.

Shortly after that, Matthew was relocated to Tacoma, Washington to assist in the corporate restructure of six existing treatment facilities. While in Washington, he also helped facilitate the opening of a new 48-bed detox and residential treatment program. It has always been a goal of Matthew’s to bring quality treatment to the area in which he grew up, so when the opportunity arose, he moved back home to New Jersey to join the Garden State Treatment Center team.
