Born and raised in New York, she began her academic journey with a degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Amanda further honed her expertise by earning a Dual Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy from Barry University.
Her career path has been both rich and diverse, encompassing a variety of roles that reflect her deep commitment to helping others. Amanda has provided therapeutic guidance at numerous South Florida treatment centers and managed a residential treatment program in New York for adults facing mental illness. Her experience as a Forensic Case Manager in a South Florida Community Mental Health Center allowed her to work closely with individuals grappling with mental illness, criminal backgrounds, and substance abuse, highlighting her ability to navigate complex and challenging environments with empathy and skill.
Amanda’s approach to therapy is profoundly holistic. As a certified Reiki practitioner, she integrates traditional therapeutic techniques with the healing powers of meditation and energy work. This unique blend creates a nurturing and supportive environment where clients can embark on their recovery and personal growth journeys.
