William has been sober since 1987. After getting sober, he started a small construction company which did well for several years. During that time he became a staff member of Freedom House, a men’s halfway house in NJ, as overnight and weekend staff. He stayed with them for 3 years. During the last of his time there, an opportunity at Carrier Clinic as a Mental Health Tech was offered. William stayed with Carrier for 12 years working his way up to Clinical Intern.
In August of 2013 he went to work for Endeavor House as a clinical intern. William facilitated client care, discharge planning, Family Education, Family sessions, as well as Group sessions. In 2018, William started his journey of helping others with Garden State Treatment Center. He tries to bring his 30 plus years of experience with sobriety and close to 19 years of treatment experience to clients on a daily basis so they may enjoy the life of sobriety.
